The Ultimate in World Class Golf? Founded in 1912, Western Hills is one of the oldest and most prestigious full service private clubs in Cincinnati. Our facility features an 18 hole golf course designed by famed Scottish architect Thomas Bendelow. Mr. Bendelow was one of the premier golf course designers of the early 1900’s. His other works include Medinah in Chicago and East Lake in Atlanta.
Rolling bentgrass fairways, elevated tees, and contoured bentgrass greens create an environment of spectacular harmony. From novices to the more experienced, Western Hills offers golfers the opportunity to play a truly challenging course. Nestled among some of the areas oldest trees our course tests players’ skills in surroundings of unparalleled beauty. Head golf professional, Mark Welage, and his staff direct private lessons, clinics and tournaments year round.

Elegant dining facilities feature breathtaking views of the surrounding golf course and pool area, and our Executive Chef, Victor Zapata, and his staff provide the finest in cuisine and service. Whether enjoying a casual meal after a round of golf, a business lunch or a cozy dinner for two, Members and guests always delight in a memorable dining experience at Western Hills. Private meeting rooms and banquet facilities are also available for special events.
Poolside at Western Hills?
Our sparkling outdoor pool caters to every preference from leisurely swims to competitive meets.
The junior-olympic sized pool and separate Kiddie pool enables Western Hills to offer a variety of programs for all age levels. Complete with its own locker rooms and refreshment bar, the pool area is a cool retreat during those hot summer days.
Membership Categories:
Regular Member - This membership entitles a family to use of our golf facilities,
swimming pool, dining rooms, and clubhouse/social activities.
Junior Family - This membership entitles a Member age 21-38 to family use of our golf facilities,
swimming pool, dining rooms, and clubhouse/social activities.
Junior Individual - This membership entitles a Member age 21-38 to individual use of our golf facilities,
swimming pool, dining rooms, and clubhouse/social activities.
Social Member - This membership entitles an individual or family use of our swimming pool,
dining rooms and clubhouse/social activities.
Please remember that Membership at Western Hills Country Club is by invitation only
and all applicants need two Members to sponsor him/her.
